80 days to red

This pepper hails from Poland and it’s name translates to “hot cyclone”. But it’s not a very hot pepper…in fact the Poles call it a “half-hot” pepper! The tapered fruits grow to about 5 inches long and are harvested when red ripe. While they can be used in salsas or roasted, they really shine as a dried pepper. the flesh is fairly thin which makes for easy drying and the flavor is “sweet-hot”. One of the best!
