Heirloom pepper from Odessa on the Black Sea in Ukraine. It grows rapidly and dependably sets 7–12 fruits per plant, crisp, juicy, thick-walled and tasty. At the edible green stage the 2¼x4½" tapered peppers have a distinctive wild lime color that morphs to orange and then to a deep dark red. Sweet and full-textured whether enjoyed raw, sautéed or roasted.
