Probaby the most popular heirloom vegetable! The fruit are mostly large with a nice silky texture and a rich, sweet flavor. Looks pink on the outside, but the flesh is gorgeous red. (Pink and red tomatoes both have red flesh, but pink tomatoes have clear skin and red tomatoes have red skin!) A favorite of gardeners, the plants are potato leafed and vigorous. From 1885.
